One of the main goals of the getting started booklet and website was to provide a source of practical tools, information and resources that e-business advisers can use with clients as they help them to benefit from doing business online.

Here are some suggestions about how e-business advisers can use the e-businessguide as a resource:

• download and print or re-purpose any of the documents, spreadsheets, "What to do" checklists etc and use them to help inform clients or group
• print pages from the website and use them as a point of discussion or advice to a client
• email the e-businessguide website address to clients and suggest they look at certain sections of the site then meet to follow up
• obtain additional copies of the getting started booklet and send them to appropriate clients

An e-businessguide planner

Here is a one page contents map of the e-businessguide. Each section of the website is listed with a check-box next to it. Simply download the document, print it out and sit down with a client (or send it to them) and tick the boxes of the sections you think they should explore.  This provides them with a hard copy planner that they can take away and use as a guide to exploring e-business.  your e-businessguide planner (79 kb)

PowerPoint presentation on e-business

Here is a PowerPoint presentation summarising the entire information contained in the website. It can be used by advisers (or anyone) in a number of ways. Download it and add or edit it, cut-and-paste slides into your own presentations or simply present entire sections of it to clients and audiences. We have purposely given probably more information per slide than would normally be advisable in the belief that it is easier for you to cut sentences or bullet points than devise them yourself.

Add your own logo or name to the slides (via Slide Master), but please include an acknowledgement of DCITA and the e-businessguide.

The font and background have been kept simple so you can change them to suit your style or branding.
