Trade marks Managing - Legal issues - Trade marks

If you are using, for example, words, devices or sounds on your website as a trade mark, you should seek advice about registering one or more as trade marks through specialised trade mark attorneys or intellectual property solicitors.

You should also ensure that you do not use any third party-registered trade marks on your website which you are not authorised to use. To avoid infringement, you must obtain prior permission from the owner of the trade mark.
